Bali Beans Journey - From Crop To Cup
Everyone is talking about Bali Kopi and Luwak Coffee right? We all know and love coffee, but what almost no one understands about a good cup of coffee is the importance of the right farming practices, processing methods and roasting techniques. At our Bali Beans Journey, we offer you a unique opportunity that lets you experience and enjoy the ‘crop-to-cup’ route of our premium Balinese coffee. This means we take you through each step from hand harvesting fresh ripe cherries, to the detailed and meticulous process involved to achieve the final distinctive full flavour you sip from your cup each morning. If you are lucky, you might even be able to get a close look at the highly acclaimed wild ‘Luwak’ excrement; the source of world’s most expensive coffee!
During this experience, you will be able to taste all our products whilst having the chance to practice your brewing skills with our professional barista. We are sure after experiencing our BALI BEANS JOURNEY you will never think about coffee in the same way again!

Bali Beans - Barista Camp
Our Barista Camps are open from May to September each year so don’t miss the opportunity to experience specialty coffee first hand. You can also explore the beautiful coffee growing region of Bali and stay in style in our new house which is located right in the middle of our coffee plantation.
We want you to see and experience the coffee harvest yourself, so come and stay with us to learn or improve your barista knowledge. Whether you are a professional, a newbie in coffee or you are simply wanting to understand how coffee is produced and served our intensive learning course is appealing to everyone.
We start by visiting different farms and meeting the individuals behind coffee and how their growing techniques and processing speciality coffee methods greatly impacts on its flavour. You will literally experience what its is like to live a day in their shoes before we move onto to how roast profiles and serving techniques are crucial for the different types of coffee drinks we all know and love.

From Bean to Brew
Bali Beans - Barista Training
Do you love a good coffee and want to learn about it? Do you dream about perfect brewing and serving great coffee? Would you like to learn or improve your Barista skills?
After our training you will be able to serve the perfect cup of coffee for your friends or clients. Students will learn from growing to serving coffee within 3 days.
Program includes:
- Basic overview of growing, farming and processing techniques with a sustainable and organic approach
- Roasting: Learn basic roasting skills using our Giesen machine
- Cupping: Intensive learning and evaluating coffee, sampling plus blending
- Serving: Barista training focused on serving (from espresso to manual brewing) with an emphasis on the different techniques
- Duration: 3 Days (2 Nights)
- Cost: £424 per person including accommodation, food and beverages or £158 per person without accommodation or food but including beverages
